SHAKE G

The purpose of the #FREESHAKEG Movement is to help address structural issues in the criminal justice system, as well as bring together an alliance that is willing to do good in and for the community.  

Shauntay Craig, more well known as "Shake G" has consistently championed efforts to uplift, support, and transform his community. Throughout his life, his initiatives have ranged from youth mentorship programs, community outreach events, and more. Shake G simultaneously faced adversity and undeniable economic hardships which led to his incarceration.  

During his incarceration, Shake G has experienced multiple civil right violations, disruption of due process of law, as well as cruel and unusual punishment. This treatment, along with the desire to  continue to make a valuable contribution to society, is the motivation behind the creation of the #FREESHAKEG Movement.
